3. Just walk in

Passing by Tuesday to Saturday? Come and say hello. Piercings are walk-in 11:00 to 17:30, and if a tattoo artist is free we can often fit smaller pieces in.

Questions we hear a lot

How much will my tattoo cost?

It depends on size, detail and placement. Send your idea to the studio or your chosen artist and you will get a clear price before anything is booked, with no surprises.

Do I need to book, or can I walk in?

Both work. Piercings are walk-in Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 to 17:30. For tattoos, walk-ins are welcome when the diary allows, but a quick message first is always worth it, especially at the weekend.

What should I bring and do beforehand?

Sleep well, eat before you come, stay hydrated and wear comfortable clothes that give easy access to the area being tattooed or pierced. Bring photo ID.

Is the studio inclusive and accessible?

Yes. Black Moon is a female owned, inclusive space and everyone is welcome. The studio is wheelchair accessible. If you have any access needs, just let us know when you get in touch.

Where should I park?

The studio is in the city centre, so public transport is easiest. If you are driving, there are several public car parks within a few minutes on foot.
